Another Karen Burniston Pop Up Card Using Hoppy the Frog

I'm crazy in love with the new characters Karen Burniston has designed for her Pop It Ups cards.  Today, I'm sharing a card I made using the Hoppy the Frog.
The front of the card is the same as a previous card I shared. See the post from August 31, 2014 for Poppy the Owl.

I decided to hang the frog from a tree branch to match my saying.

I Won First Place in the "Beat the Heat Rubber Stamp Show" June 28, 2014

Hello Everyone.
You will notice my blog posts will not be in chronological order while I catch up on posting a few tidbits for which I've not had time to locate pictures and compose information.  Time continues to slip through my fingers!

This post is from the Annual Rubber Stamp Event that comes to the Kansas City area each summer.  You can find out more info about the calendar for these events and where they are held HERE

I won first place in the card contest for Saturday, June 28, 2014.  The competition was very stiff this year and I am very honored the judges liked my card.  I like entering this contest because afterwards the cards are sold at the various shows and the money is donated to The American Cancer Society.  I won $100 show bucks for my entry and my card in turn helped (in a small part) in the fundraising for the Show's chairity.  Win/Win!

I, of course, had no problems spending the money I won at the show!  There were serveral of my favorite vendors present more than willing to help me in my endeavor.

I met my friends, Joanne and Terri, at the show.  We visited vendors and had lunch and just generally had a "La La Loonies" day out together.  We have not done any of the Tim Holtz tags this summer, but have managed to exchange techniques, etc!

We are busy working on plans for Halloween!  Stay tuned....
