My Sister-in-law's Mother suffered a stroke recently and I wanted to do a special get well card of encouragement for her. I was so inspired by Karen's class I decided to do one of her Pop It Up dies and one of her character dies.
This shows the close up of the Owl die cut. I did not have any Elizabeth Craft Silk Microfine Glitter so I used Tim Holtz glitter on the glasses. It worked, but I think his glitter is too coarse for something with such delicate features. I'm looking forward to trying the Elizabeth Craft glitter next time.
One of the best features of the Karen Burniston Pop It Ups dies is the many additional dies you get in the die set. Both labels, including the stitching one, and the small banner held by the owl are included in the set.

- I discovered these great eyes at the recent Rubber Stamp Event in Kansas City. They have many different sizes and about six different colors. They will be great with all of the characters Karen has designed!
